A substance that can replace plastic and dissolve in water in such a way that you can drink it afterwards? Hungarian inventor Péter Tamás Lajter has recently patented his invention DAT1, which could replace plastic production worldwide. What makes this environmentally friendly material so special is that, unlike other plastics that are called biodegradable, Péter's invention does not even leave behind microplastics, meaning it can decompose without leaving behind 100 percent of its harmful substances. This has already been proven by international studies, and the invention has no equal in the world, so it could revolutionise the way we live.
